Hmmmm… This really could be a sign that the rumors of a major goalie trade in Dallas is about to happen. The Atlanta Thrashers have sent Kari Lehtonen to the Dallas Stars in exchange for defenceman Ivan Vishnevskiy and a fourth-round draft pick in the 2010 draft.

This is interesting since Lehtonen hasn’t even planed this season since he had to have back surgery on September 16, 2009. He went through conditioning in the AHL so I guess Dallas felt he was worth it. In his time with the Thrashers (4 seasons), he had a 94-83-17 record with 14 shutouts.

Do you think they are getting ready to move Marty Turco? I am thinking it’s more possible by the day…
