According to reports, Paul doesn’t think the New Orleans Hornets are close enough to a championship. For that reason, the superstar point guard wants to be traded to a team he feels has a better chance. Teams that he’s interested in include the New York Knicks, Orlando Magic, Dallas Mavericks and Portland Trail Blazers.

Excuse me but since when did NBA superstars become cowards? Back in the day, superstars would try to improve their team with blood, sweat and tears. They looked at other superstars with hate. Beating those superstars was the ultimate.

Not anymore.

Today, superstars want to join with other superstars to make the road to a championship easier. Chris Paul, instead of wanting to a win a championship on his own, wants the help of players like Dwight Howard and Amare Stoudemire.

Hopefully this doesn’t become an epidemic in the NBA. Competitiveness should still mean something.
