Reports have surfaced that Ottawa Senators player, Mike Fisher is engaged to country singer, Carrie Underwood. Carrie’s publicist, Jessie Schmidt, broke the news saying, “The couple couldn’t be happier.”
Carrie was once asked what her parents thought of boyfriend, Mike, and she says she knows her parents trust her to make a good decision.
She replied, “They love me and I would hope my parents would think we raised a good, smart girl, so she’s going to do the right thing no matter what it is.”
In the liner notes of her latest album, Play On, Carrie had some great things to say about her now fiancé.
She wrote, “Thank you (No.) 12 . You are the most amazing addition to my life! You are such a wonderful person and have had such an amazing hand in the building of this album and in the growth of me as a person. I love you so much! You make my life better in every way!”
There is not set date yet for the wedding for the couple who have been dating for around a year.
