Terrell Owens remains a free agent. It’s obvious that NFL teams are worried about his explosive personality ruining chemistry. On top of that, Owens’ career is nearing its end. But one way or another, a team is going to sign Terrell Owens for the 2010 season. Where will Owens end up? Here are the best destinations for him to thrive.

5) Washington Redskins
With Donovan McNabb in Washington, Terrell Owens to the Redskins makes a lot of sense. The Redskins need a receiver and McNabb and Owens have experience playing together.

4) Houston Texans
Andre Johnson is arguably the best wide receiver in the NFL. To make teams pay for double-teaming Johnson, Owens could be a good weapon.

3) New York Jets
The Jets are stocking up on wide receiver for Mark Sanchez. Why not add T.O. to the mix? He’s another big play threat for an offense that needs all the help it can get.

2) Chicago Bears
Terrell Owens to the Bears makes sense on a number of levels. However, the biggest reason it makes sense is Jay Cutler’s arm. Cutler needs a receiver who can go deep and make big plays. Owens fits the bill.

1) New England Patriots
The Patriots offer everything. A great QB in Tom Brady. A great WR to play next to in Randy Moss. A team that is strong enough to swallow up his personality. A coach that can handle Owens. What isn’t to like?
