Curtis Glencross has raised more than 0,000 for Calgary’s Crime Stoppers program and showed that, even though he’s only been with the Calgary Flames for a season, he’s already become invested in the community.![]()
“Calgary Crime Stoppers is an organization that benefits each of us in the communities we live in and I am thrilled with the support we have received in the event’s first year,” said Glencross. “Thank you to all our event sponsors, golfers and celebrities who made it possible.”
He hosted the Glencross Invitational Golf Tournament and was joined by over 140 golfers, including Flames teammates, Cory Sarich and Brandon Prust, Flames General Manager Darryl Sutter, Flames President and CEO Ken King and Flames Head Coach Brent Sutter at Springbank Links Golf Club for the charity game.
A pre-event auction took place at Flames Central this past Monday with proceeds going to the Calgary Crime Stoppers Association.
