Lorenzo Scott recorded an RBI in each of his first four at-bats, including leadoff home runs in the first and second innings, leading the Jacksonville Suns (75-56, 35-26) to an 8-4 win over the Chattanooga Lookouts (62-68, 29-32) in front of 4,286 Friday night at AT&T Field.

Elih Villaneuva (14-4) allowed one run and three hits with seven strikeouts over five innings in a winning decision. Jesus Castillo (4-9) took the loss after giving up seven runs, five earned, and 11 hits over four innings.

The Suns scored four in the first inning against Castillo and sent all nine hitters to the plate. After Scott led off with a home run, Paul Gran and Vinny Rottino singled to put runners at first and third. Matt Dominguez grounded to third baseman Corey Smith, who threw wild into right field to bring in Gran for a 2-0 lead. Brandon Tripp then grounded to first baseman Eddy Perez, who threw wild into left field to score Rottino for a 3-0 lead. Dominguez later scored on a Kevin Mattison pop up behind third base that Smith misjudged and let drop for a single for a 4-0 score.

Lorenzo Scott’s leadoff home run in the second inning opened a 5-0 lead before Chattanooga’s Kyle Russell answered in the bottom of the frame with a sacrifice fly to score Jerry Sands for a 5-1 score.

Jacksonville added two runs with two out in the third inning. With two out, Villanueva singled to left field to score Tripp from third base for a 6-1 lead. Scott next doubled to the right field corner to score Mattison from second base for a 7-1 game.

Mattison led off the fifth inning with a triple and scored on a Scott groundout with the infield in for an 8-1 lead.

The Lookouts scored three runs off Suns reliever Kris Harvey. Sands singled home Dee Gordon in the sixth inning with two out before a Matt Wallach groundout and Harvey wild pitch plated runs in the seventh inning.

Suns RH Brad Stone will face Lookouts LH Alberto Bastardo in game three of the series Saturday at 6:15 p.m. ET.
