The Packers-Cardinals Wildcard Playoff game was one of the best in history. It started off with the Cardinals dominating the Packers, getting up to 17-0 by the end of the first quarter. That lead continued to the third quarter, where the Packers were still behind by three touchdowns with a score of 31-10.

Things started out ugly, with the Packers turning the ball over twice in the first five minutes of the game alone. While the Packers nearly pulled off one of the best come-back victories ever, they only managed to tie the game by the fourth quarter. A missed Cardinal fieldgoal sent the high-scoring game into overtime. The Packers won the toss, and I really believed they’d pull off the victory. After all, the team that wins the coin flip usually receives, and scores. But Packer Quarterback Aaron Rodgers fumbled, and as he went down actually kicked the ball in the air. Karlos Dansby picked up the ball and ran it into the end zone.

Final score? 51-45. That’s 100 points, y’all! Needless to say, defense was pretty much nonexistent, but the Cardinals pulled out a final defensive play to win the game. Next, the Cardinals will head to New Orleans to play the Saints next week.
