Can you believe the playoffs are here already? Our football year has gone so very fast. Here are my predictions for the games.

NY Jets vs Cincinnati Bengals

Winner: Bengals

The Bengals take this game easily. Sure, they’ve slowed a bit at the end of the season and they mailed it in last week against the Jets, but I think the world will be surprised at just how not ready the Jets are for the playoffs. Rex Ryan can believe his team is going all the way, but really, he has to believe that because he’s their coach. Watch for Ochocinco to have a big game.



AFC Wildcard Games

Baltimore Ravens vs New England Patriots

Winner: Ravens

It is just me, or have the Patriots had some bag mojo every since they lost in the Super Bowl a couple years ago. They had that big undefeated year and then made that feat completely irrelevant by losing the big game. Ever since then, they’ve had injuries, odd plays, and the inability to click on all cylinders. Ravens have the fire that the Patriots don’t.

NFC Wildcard Games

Philadelphia Eagles vs Dallas Cowboys

Winner: Cowboys

Even I can’t believe I’m picking the Cowboys here. The Cowboys aren’t my favorite team. I don’t like the coach or the quarterback, and they’ve shown that they silently fall away toward the end of the season. Still, I think they are due. This one will be a close game, but the Cowboys will take it.

Green Bay Packers vs Arizona Cardinals

Winner: Cardinals

Another re-match from the previous week. The Cardinals used the mail it in strategy that will prove victorious. The Packers have no business in the playoffs this year, and they will lose this game badly.
